My blogger cherry is offically popped.

How exciting! My first blog post...actually I must be truthful. It's not my first. Way back in the day when I was a young lassie enrolled in the 9th grade, I created a blog in order to write movie reviews. To say the least, I was (and still continue to be) a skilled and simply amazing movie critic. There is something about movies that entrigues me. No matter the genre or complexity I am always delighted to partake in a movie watching experience.

Hold on...I need to climb off my soap box...

...

ok, I'm grounded again. So besides my failing attempt at a blog in High School, I really am a blogger virgin.

I am beginning a journey. As a broke and broken down college sophmore, I am ready to do something. What is that 'something'? Hell if I know! All I do know though, is that I live in one of the most beautiful cities I've ever laid eyes on. Surely I haven't traveled the world so there might be something better out there but many places do not compare to Charleston, South Carolina. The history alone in Charleston is sometimes the most interesting aspects of my day...or the fact that I can't walk down one block without passing a Church. Religion galore...I guess that's why they call it the "Holy City"... because it surely isn't because of the holy people. Actually, they really aren't that bad. I love nothing more than some sweet southern hospitality. That stuff really does exist, just in case you're wondering.

(My school! I'm quite blessed. To say the least.)
(I captured this myself with my camera last spring during a school function)

OK GRAYCE, ENOUGH! What the heck is the point of this blog?(Sometimes I find it necessary to speak TO myself in order to get work done)

OoooOOOooooO yesh! I'm starting this blog because I want some type of documentation of my life. And I feel that my own documentation is the best kind. School is a drag (most of the time) so I'm starting a journey to find more to life. I want to DO more things. Charleston has so much to offer me and i've yet to take the time to explore and get to know the city. Now is the time...or...the time is now. I'm excited and open minded to the 22439857692834750987th degree...and willing to learn...not just about MY city but about MYSELF.

More explaining and yumminess later. I need to nap...that is why I skipped class today after all.
